For the next few months, you’ll be able to switch back and forth between the new and the old SpeechLive interfaces, but we think you’ll prefer the new look and functionality. If you prefer the old interface, just keep using speechlive.com as the address in your Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge web browser, however you’ll be missing out on some useful new capabilities!
Among the dozens of enhancements incorporated into this significant update to the SpeechLive web browser interface are:
- A more compact dictation worklist that shows you more information about each recording - in less space
- A way to rearrange the order of columns in the worklist - Click the Settings icon , then drag column names up or down to reorder them onscreen
- A way to change the column widths - Grab the right edge of a column and drag it
- An audio player that displays the waveform of the recording, making it easier to move through the quiet parts
